Balyna House, Moyvalley

A beautiful old country house in the Moyvalley Estate. Inside and out, it's ideal for photos.

The front of the house is very elegant and perfect for photos of the couple and some formal photos with family. Sometimes the light is better at the back of the house but I use the front if I can. Great, light-filled rooms and a huge staircase give ample opportunity inside if the light fades or the rain comes down.

The gardens behind the house stretch down to a huge cross at the end. Off to the side is a little chapel. Trees, walkways and greenery give a huge scope for a variety of beautiful shots.

The photo above is at Furey's pub nearby, a short stop on the way to the hotel. The canal and the bright red and white pub are great.
