The Rectory, Glandore

Beautiful west Cork at its best. The old Rectory overlooks the harbour giving some amazing views.
On sunny days the reception can be held on the lawn. Family photos can be taken to the side of the house where there is a stunning garden.
The reception rooms are perfect for photos if needed.

Summerhill House Hotel

Summerhill House is near to Powerscourt at the top of Enniskerry. There are some small gardens and a driveway to the front of the house which are good for family and couple photos.

There is a nice reception room to the left when you walk in the main house which is good for rainy days.

Trim Castle Hotel

Trim Castle Hotel is just accrss the road from the castle which was used in Braveheart. The castle ruins are stunning - no photos are allowed inside just around the outside. The main areas are at the bridge and opposite the garda station below.

A good place for family photos is in the park at the back of the cathedral which is through a little gateway from the hotel. The castle is lit up in the evening which can be captured from the roof.

Wineport Lodge

The stunning setting of Wineport Lodge is on the shores of Lough Ree. Most of the hotel windows face the lake and you can see why.
The hotel grounds are also just on the side of the lake, which is perfect. The sun can shine here later in the day, so off camera fill flash might be required for the familty shots. Features include the gazebo, the terrace and of course, the jetty.
Lots of nice rooms inside. Lots of light from big double fronted windows, so really great for any inside shots required and for the preparations if the bride is getting ready in the bridal suite.

Roganstown House

Roganstown is a great venue near Swords in a country setting not far from the city. It's an old country house which has been extended while retaining the period features.
The landscaped gardens at the front of the house are great for the family photos and a few of the bride and groom. There is also a Japanese garden in the courtyard to the side of the hotel. It provides some nice shade if needed.
Nothing to worry about on the rainy days as there are some lovely reception rooms just inside the door of the main house and the stairs is a nice feature.

Radisson St Helens

The Radisson St Helens is a fine hotel on the outskirts of Dublin city. It retains all the charm of the old house while giving the amenities of a large hotel.
The gardens to the rear of the house are magnificent and are perfect for group photos and shots of the bride and groom. The balcony can be used for cover if it rains.
The front of the house is also really interesting for some wide angled photos. Inside there's tons of light from the huge windows to give loads of opportunity if it rains.

Rosedale House

Located outside Shankill in south Dublin, Rosedale house is a beautiful old housewith a great garden and rooms.
The stairs, hallway and reception rooms are great for photos, especially if it rains. If it's sunny the reception will be in the courtyard at the rear, which is great for candid shots of the guests.
The front of the house and the gradens to the side offer more than enough locations in a small area for lots of different types of photos.
