Ritz Carlton Powerscourt - Wedding Photography

The Ritz Carlton in Powerscourt opened recently. I photographed a wedding there in February.
The venue is an architecturally stunning and imposing building with a sumptious interior. There's loads of available light in the foyer and reception areas for portraits and group shots. Down one flight is the restaurant which leads out to the main balcony, which is also great. The stairs itself and starred floor give great scope for some creativity.

The couple wanted to get some photos in powerscourt gardens further down the driveway, so I checked this out a few days before. Unfortunately, you can only take photos there if your wedding in Powerscourt House. This was disappointing but we compensated by taing some photos along the driveway with its beautiful trees and great backdrops towards the sugarloaf.

Wedding Photographer Dublin

Hi,

This is the first blog to my website. My name is Will O'Reilly. I am a photographer based in Dublin; mainly these days a wedding photographer. I have many years experience in a range of areas such as PR, Portraits, Commercial, Travel and Wedding Photography.

The purpose of the blog, or at least the intention, is to share some photos and experiences as I wind my way through the wedding days of some lovely couples. I'd also like to share any venues I think are great for photos and in general.

Hopefully this will be of some interest, but I'll amuse myself anyway. Feel free to post any comments to any of the blogs.
